Thinking of getting Moment

I have a curve 8530 that I got when i traded the hero in....Well my question is has anyone done this switch and been happy with it? The hero is a nice phone but it lagged way too much and would not let me receive 90% of my mms messages....does the moment have issues like this? is 2.1 really going to make that much of a difference on these phones?

My wife switched from the Curve to the Moment, and she loves, says much better then BB, battery kind goes faster but that should be fixed with update. I own the Hero switched from Curve to Pre to Hero now going to get the Evo, but for the Moment she has no problems with MMS or anything to that affect. Rumors are Moment 2 coming soon.

Thanks for the info....I really liked the hero...maybe if the 2.1 update fixes that and comes out soon within my 30 days I will get it back if not...I might take the hero....i like my curve but its just so boring
