Thinking of Note 3

Re: Thinking of Note3

no problem for me... keeping an eye on settings and like someone else has stated, keep the phone super still in low light situations, and you get pretty good "phone" pictures!!

Re: Thinking of Note3

I just really love the display on the Note 3. It just pops with sharpness and color. ...makes for a really fun interaction.

Re: Thinking of Note3

Ignore the complaints, and issues people post. With this being a brand new phone, and released so widely around all the carriers, there will be bugs, period.

I love my Note 3. And I did have the electronic squelch/garble on the first phone. Verizon was very easy to get it fixed. I called tech support, and talked about the issues I was having, and then they had me do a hard reset, still didn't fix it. So, she noted the account, and said going to a corporate store would be faster way to fix it, and save them from charging me again. I bought the phone online, and the store was a breeze with exchanging the phone. No charge since it was in the 14 day window.

I love it, and the covereage is great. I am so glad to have 4G now, and just wish I had kept my unlimited, but several things kept that from happening. The phone has so many features that I am still finding, and the screen is great. Even though its large, I can carry it in pretty much any of my pockets, and its not that heavy for the size.

You always have to take the bad reviews with a grain of salt, since most don't take the time to praise the new product they are not having issues with, since they are too busy enjoying it.

Re: Thinking of Note3

I already have a Verizon account & I am thinking about getting the Note 3 but there seems to be a lot of issues with it. I have a Note 2 now on U.S.Cellular.

I got the Verizon Note III today. I am still in the process of getting everything on it.

Re: Thinking of Note3

I have had my Note 3 a few days and have found no faults with it. Love the speed and the clarity! I posted a question regarding email, but not a complaint. I've used wifi, 4g, made a lot of calls, used texts, s-voice, the s-pen (a little) and have even personalized it a bit. I am not a savvy person when it comes to phones and have upgraded from an old droid x to this phone. I love it so far and find it very user friendly. Forums are good for finding out exactly what to do about what, so to speak, so often what looks like complaining is asking.

hope that helps

Re: Thinking of Note3

I have the Note 3 and very very very recently got a Note 2 (I know, I did that backwards). They are both strong great devices. Note 2 owners, IMO, should be very happy with their phones.

Welcome to the note 3 krew....u will love it. Be sure to let battery drain all the way then do a complete charge and let drain again to get max out of your battery

That's old school. New batteries don't need conditioning.

Lol..my bad...Learn something new every day. What's funny is the dude at Verizon store told me to do it with this phone when I bought it. I asked him if I had to do this and he said yes. Uggghhh

Re: Thinking of Note3

One thing is would suggest for you is to never let any one person's experience be yours. You will end up not buying anything.... LOL

There are apple fans who would bash Android any chance they get and vice versa.

Then you have folks that get the N3 and either get defective units or just complain just to complain. Some legitimate, others just seem to like to b*tch because they can... (no offense to anyone in particular).

I'm not saying anyone user is better than they next, but I advise you not to get hung up on the issues because it's mostly only a small sampling of folks who are not having issues at all.

I'm not having any of the issues being reported by most. Reception is great, wifi stays connected, s-pen works, s-pen is easy to take out and put in with the S-View case on. The phone is fast, no lags as some have reported. I play with iPhone and iPads all day because of work and response is comparable...... In My Opinion

I had a VZ N2 and at the time, it was the BEST Android phone experience I had every had

Most if not all Cell Providers have grace period that will allow you enough time to play with a unit and return within a certain amount of time.

I couldn't have said it better myself!

My Note 3 blows away my prior S4 in both smoothness, screen, signal and blue tooth connectivity and quality. My wi-fi issues stopped when I disabled the auto network switch. As far as camera it has the same camera as the S4 which was touted in reviews as the best on Android phones until the G2 was released. Any differences I see in the camera from my S4 I chalk up to difference in software which can probably be addressed in an update. The Touchwiz with 4.3 on the Note 3 has quite a few differences than Touchwiz with 4.2.2 on the S4.

Overall I love the phone and have had no issues as of yet. I loved the S4 so much I simply wanted the bigger version and ended up getting so much more and couldn't be happier. Now my wife happily enjoys the S4.

I currently have the Droid Maxx and I'm still in the 14 day window. I like the Maxx alot, but I'm considering swapping it for a Note 3. I'm worried about whether or not they will keep updating the Maxx. I've never had a Samsung phone. How long do they usually upgrade them? I do the two year plan and I don't want a phone that stops getting upgrades after a year.

I also think the Note 3 is probably a much better phone than the Maxx. The Maxx has the better battery and was $100 cheaper so that's why I picked it in the first place, but now I'm thinking maybe I should've went with the Note 3. Would it be worth the $35 re-stock fee and then the extra $100?

I think Samsung has been good of late updating their phones. I loved the S3 and S4 so the Note was the next logical step for me once I got my hands on one. Hardest decision I had was white or black. I never even considered a different phone.
