Thinking of switching from HTC One to Moto X

Welp...I did it. I bought a Developers Edition Moto X and it came in yesterday.

I think if active display worked for me, I'd probably actually like the phone. As of now, though...I've made a huge mistake.

My work emails (on Exchange) don't want to play nice with active display. Hotmail comes through just fine, but the phone is very picky about which Exchange emails it wants to display. If I pick up the phone, the clock and lock icon are there. Once I unlock the phone, boom, there's the email.

Thought it might be a third party app interfering so I tried everything in Safe Mode, but it still wouldn't work consistently.

To say that I'm hugely disappointed would be an understatement.

You will be very surprised at how well the camera performs..my wife had the IPhone and now carrying the G2 both of which supposed to have superior cameras..however when ever we take pictures it's always with my moto x..as the pictures come out better..

Have you given that email app permission to access the active display in settings?
