So I have Verizon and all there new plans really annoy me so I was thinking of switching to T-Mobile and I was wondering about dropped calls, bad service exc. And I live in Richmond Virginia if anyone who reads this is from here also that would be a lot of help

And I've always heard with T-Mobile if I get an unlocked phone I can use it on T-Mobile for example if I were to get the European version of the one x I could put it on T-Mobile in the states. Is that true?

And one more thing how are the 4g speeds on T-Mobile?

I switched to T-Mobile from Verizon a month ago, not because of data plan changes, but because of dropped calls and poor call quality. I'm happy with T-Mobile. The sound quality is amazing compared to Verizon. There are occasional dropped calls but nothing like I had with Verizon. And their 4G is blazingly fast.

The only downside is that when I get in more rural areas I tend to have only Edge, which is fine for voice calls but about as fast as Verizon's 3G for data - much slower than their 4G. But, supposedly they're going to be building out a lot more of their 3G network to replace the Edge areas by year end.

Overall, I'm much happier with T-Mobile than Verizon.

You had a lot of dropped calls on Verizon? I can't remember ever having a drop call on Verizon. That's one of the big reasons I'm hesitant to leave because where I live Verizon is so good and I have service just about everywhere I go. Maybe I'll buy a T-Mobile 4g phone and get T-Mobiles month to month plan and try it out for a month
