I've been on iOS since day 1...today my co-worker picked up a new HTC phone with T-Mobile, the phone was pretty nice and got me thinking...

I currently have AT&T and if I make the switch, which phone would everyone recommend? I'm trying to stall away from Motorola because of the Motoblur...

I read today that HTC and Beats By Dr. Dre are coming together to make an HTC Phone...any clue when this will be released?

I would like to keep a front facing camera as well for skype.

One last thing, all my computers in my household are Apple...will this be an issue with syncing and backing up Android phones? All my music is in iTunes as well...can I still put songs on the Android phone? Just want to make sure everything will work before I do this.

Thanks everyone

Im not sure on which phone to recommend, as I dont use at&t and I never used an Android like you. But checking the site. Theirs two htc models that have 4g the Inspire (Which I think I heard was pretty good) and the freestyle. Cell Phones & Mobile Devices - Wireless from AT&T
http://androidforums.com/android-media/14735-droid-not-takin-my-itunes-music-500-mistake.html Haha. Ok I know theirs more Android Phones for at&t, right? Just search around, sorry that I couldn't help here.

As far as I know their shouldn't be any issues with macs. I cant be for certain on Itunes though.
This should help though: How do I get my iTunes music on my droid?

Hope I helped :)

I just dumped my iPhone 4 and got an Atrix, and couldn't be happier. My wife has an Inspire as well, and it's also a vet good device.

If you are really interested in the latest and greatest the LG Thrill is supposed to be out by the end of the month.

The Infuse is a great phone.

If you bought your music through the iTunes store they are copyright protected and won't work (easily). If you imported from cd they will. Do you know what format they are in?

I haven't bought one song from iTunes. It is all from CDs and Internet.

Thanks for the replies. Guess I should just go check out my AT&T store.

I'm still waiting on Apple to announce the iPhone 5 to check it out. If it's not a major improvement, I'm coming over to Android.

Double twist is a great app for easily moving your music over. What else are you looking to synch? I know Apple can get pretty proprietary with things but with Android there's generally a work around, it can just take some time for the initial set up to get juat right, but doing your research ahead of time always helps.

I have to say, just as a sidenote rant, it drives me crazy when customers come in completely unprepared to buy a phone, expect thethe sales associate to know exactly how they want to use the phone, and then get mad if they have to tweak anything or there's some sort of set up time involved. People need to take a littke bit of personal responsibility when picking out their phones. End rant :)
