Has anyone tried and/or succeeded at rooting the ThinkPad yet?

I would like to know as well, i need to be able to take screenshots... is kind of ridiculous that simple functionality like that is so hard to accomplish on android devices.

Does anyone know if we should be expecting to get ICS officially?

That is entirely dependant on Lenovo creating an ICS ROM or achieving root and loading a custom ICS ROM.

Yea, I was asking if anyone had heard anything official about Lenovo pushing ICS some time in the future. I personally think they will for two reasons; ICS has built in stylus support, and when chatting with a Lenovo employee I asked about it and they said that if they do their website will be updated when ICS is available. I asked in the thread about rooting because I know if it isn't made available officially it will just be a matter of time before we can unofficially.
