I really wish everytime a battery thread came up we didn't have to see the "liar liar" posts or the 'test' posts etc. He didn't ask if the size of the battery was correct he asked how to improve his battery life and specifically with the 1750. There are A LOT of us out here that are getting anywhere from 10-20 hours on this battery depending on usage. I'm in the 14-16 hour group with moderate to heavy usage.
So, the first question I would ask is what cycle are you on? It take 5-6 FULL cycles of the battery to get optimal performance out of your battery. Mine wasn't lasting much longer than stock on the first two charges, maybe an hour longer. Make sure before you place it back on the charger you are down to 20% or less before placing it on the charger. You only need to do this on these first 5-6 cycles.
On about your 5-6 cycles when battery life seems to have lengthen as far as it will go bump charge it once if it makes you feel better about the battery. This is what I did and I never bump charged again, and I have great battery life and no 10% drop as soon as I take it off the charger and all that crap.
If you have already done the 5-6 cycles and life still isn't looking good then I would suggest doing the whole 'clean slate' thing. Check inside menu --> settings --> about phone --> battery and see if your awake time and up time are the same, or about the same, numbers. If they are you having something keeping your phone awake which kills the battery that much faster. Also inside of there you can look at battery use and see what app may be doing it!
