Thanks, should be here tuesday, just in time for my trip.

As I've stated in other threads my only complaint is the sensitive camera glass which is ultimately my fault it broke, otherwise I love the device. Super snappy all around, haven't really experienced any real annoyances with it and haven't had a single software/firmware issue. Yet...

No problems. It's weird, for some reason, I keep knocking my V20s off my nightstand and they keep hitting one of the lamp bases on the way down and I'm like, there goes the back camera glass, only to find the phone still in flawlessly perfect condition.

No flaws, no problems...no drama. Such is my experience so far with the V20.

I just turned mine in. Great phone, barely any problems... but barely any excitement out of it. Besides the wide lens (with the ensuing lower-qual pictures) and double tap to wake/sleep which I still try to use in every device I touch, nothing else wowed me. Yeah, the DAC was nice for a while, but then it's not so great, especially because you have to be tethered to the phone to use it. Go BT Headphones! :)

Add the fact that it's almost December and the phone has the security patch of a couple months ago, and it just made things worse.

Oh, and the 'forced' heads up notifications also killed it for me.

So what phone did you decide to get?

Went back to the S7 Edge now that the blue coral is out. (I'm on JOD at T-Mobile; would have gone Pixel but since it's a Verizon-exclusive if you want a carrier version, that was a no-go). Just missed the waterproofing (I didn't have audio from the speakers for a whole day as the V20 thought it had headphones plugged in after applying a wet-install screen protector, ugh!), wireless charging, VR, the great camera (double tap to open camera QUICKLY trumps double tap to turn on screen for me), and definitely missed Samsung Pay. And the fact that this phone just looks sexy and the V20 was 'all business, nothing fancy here, move along' kinda design is just added bonus :P

I do miss that the V20 felt zippier (since it lacks half the features, therefore, process bloat) and the 64GB storage, but at least it'll get me through while waiting for the S8 or the next Note.

it is pretty quiet, haha. weird.. the only thread I see continually pop up is that darn DAC thread ahhaha

200,000 in the first 10 days in the US is pretty good.. double their last phone. It's not AMAZING.. but it's good for LG

It's a quality device, no doubt. But also keep in mind many are refugees from the Note 7.So LG really benifed from the Note 7''s demise.

Someone just needs to break their camera glass again and things will pick back up.

Do you want to volunteer?

Haha. Well believe it or not, I dropped my phone again yesterday for the 3rd time and it did not break. It slid off my desk and fell right onto my hardwood floors, breaking up in 3 pieces again (battery, screen, back cover). Not a single scratch or break.

I'm really pushing my luck, but not by choice, and i'm usually super careful. When this phone its the ground though, that sound of the metal back sounds just like glass breaking. My heart jumped a little!

Do you have a case on it?

Weird part is haveI have both my s7 edge unlocked is slower then this lg v20. Granted I have had my s7 edge since July so we will see after a month if the speed factor will hold on the v20

It will. The V20 is just 'speedier' because the OS is so...bland. Compared to the spruced-up, feature-packed, RAM-hungry Samsung implementation, the V20 is just snappier. But at the cost of feeling too simple.
