this is getting ridiculous

Ok the last week my turbo 2 has been draining the battery fast. All due to the wifi somehow. It done this before but after a fresh restart and clearing cache it stopped. When I updated my internet my ISP uverse changed the modem slash wifi out. Since then my phone has been connecting via 5ghz instead of 2.4 whatever that means. Seems like it's better when I'm at work. Any ideas? Thank you

Do you have the setting checked to cut the wifi off when your phone goes to sleep? I noticed a decent change in battery life with that.
