This is interesting - Lifeproof Cases for the Galaxy S5

So I have been waiting for the lifeproof to release for my S5. I also know Otterbox bought lifeproof. Found this on Otterbox's website.

GALAXY S5 Preserver Series case from OtterBox

Considering Lifeproof's website still says coming soon for the S5,and Otterbox owns them I found this interesting the have this series. I like the look of the the Preserver series. Thoughts?

I already killed an S5 due to some water testing. Details to follow in another thread, but the added protection couldn't hurt. I dislike the loss of screen clarity due to the integrated screen protector, but if they tried to use a seal design like the battery door, someone would find a way to mess it up.

The case looks kinda like the Seidio Obex water proof case. From the way previous models of the Preserver series look it also snaps together in a similar fashion. The case was not for me due to the thickness. I believe the case would be very durable though. I already have the Element case and I am about to order the Zagg Glass for mine and I believe that will be good enough for me until the Lifeproof case comes out and I may try one of them But I won't lie this Element case is awesome.

They are $89.99, same as the Lifeproof with the screen over the front. Personally I still like the Nude series from Lifeproof.
