If the perp did truly embezzle funds through nefarious deeds, I hope the legal punishment is swift and severe. Few crimes are worse than betrayal. And if there was no illegality and simply a dispute/misunderstanding, I appreciate the manner in which this appears to have been handled.

I'm not a mod kinda guy and am just seeing this from the outside, but I hope everything gets resolved quickly and cleanly.

This is not too surprising considering the antics of Jerry Sandusky, Lance Armstrong, General Petraeus, Bernie Madoff etc. The shocking rise in fraud, greed, foolish behavior is saddening/alarming.
True most are good but still....
