Ive used custom ROMS on all my phones. This is however the first time that ive had one that i am too afraid to screw up. As far as bloatware, it seems you can disable most of it from the applications menu, ive taken off most of the garbage that ATT put on the phone and so far haven't had issues. So far im happy with just the Root

Same here, Plus running a custom launcher makes it almost like a rom. Don't get me wrong, the roms for the phone look killer; but it is nice to have a phone that I feel I don't need to run a custom rom

Same here. This is my 3rd android phone, but my first Samsung. I've always rooted and rom'd my phones, but so far, no desire to tinker with my Note 2.

agreed. I will say, however, that I've just rooted and flashed a rom. But it's a rom that's basically stock (CleanRom), except with the addition of being able to add any of my apps to the multi window, and set custom toggles of the notification bar.

Otherwise, the stock rom is perfect for me.

If I could get wallet working, I'd be happy with clean rom.

This is a first for me as well. The only thing that I applied to a rooted Stock build was an AOSP Theme & a few mods. Very happy with this device.

I used Wallet for a while... until I found out it was screwing me out of my credit card rewards.

I charge "everything" on Chase Freedom (5% cash back on certain purchases that change every 3 months.... this Jan-Mar is 5% cash back on gas) and American Express Prefferred Cash (6% cash back on groceries, 3% gas.. I use this to buy gas when Chase is not doing 5% on gas, 1% everything else). I pay these cards off every month, so I basically use them as cash.

These cards dont earn rewards when I used them with Wallet... so no go for me. If you are a Debit Card person, then Wallet is nice.

I wish I could say the same but unfortunatly I ended up flashing CleanROM and Beans on my device. However, if I had to pick a phone that I wouldn't want to hack if the option wasn't there this would be it. Its pretty solid out of the box and TouchWiz seems to work pretty well without any tweaking aside from what you can change in the settings. Only reason I flashed a ROM was to get the WiFi toggle and get a slight performance boost which CleanROM has given me.
