I purchased the AT&T Next plan the Samsung Galaxy Edge S6 Edge 128 Gb that retails 1000 bucks and change. The phone arrives on June 29 within less than 24 hours the screen craps out where it won't let me type or open apps. I call AT&T and go through the return process the new replacement arrives July 6th everything looked great until just few hours ago when AT&T and Samsung updates arrive. Just two hours afterwards, I get a black screen, the phone is totally unresponsive. Holding down the power button does nothing, trying to hard reset it by pressing Volume Up + Home + Power button does ZILCH. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Two BRAND NEW phones in just 12 days!!! I'll take it to the AT&T store.. but I'm very reluctant getting another.. it may be time for iPhone 6; I don't necessarily like it, but I've never had problems with past Apple phones

Q: What good is having such awesome features if the phone doesn't work???

Maybe you were just unlucky to receive lemon units. Am sure if you'd get a good one you'll appreciate the features more. There are many who have theirs working well out of the box. Hope all turns out well for your phone too.

I agree that's an absolute [language removed]. I can imagine how agree and frustrated you are.. however this is just Really bad luck.. seems maybe they have had a bad batch and you have been unlucky enough to receive 2. It's bound to happen to someone when they produce so many.... Just like the iPhone.

Not sure wit I'd do in your situation. . Maybe same as you... look elsewhere but in my experience at least the phone is lovely... responsive bright and fairly sexy as phones go.
The Note 5 isn't too far away.
Good Luck

I'm super frustrated... I spoke yesterday to the AT&T tech support and as soon as these words: "No problem, we'll see what we can do about sending you a refurbished unit right away.." Man, I let him have it... making it really clear that he better not use the terms "See what we can do" and "Refurbished" again. I'll go the the AT&T store later today, the trouble is that the according to the AT&T website the 128 GB are not available in stores...only by online order. Nevertheless, I'm going to chew out some unfortunate soul... I'll give it one last try.

Samsung made an blunderous ambitious sacrifice of durability and reliability for appearance.
It is the worst sasung phone on earth. You will be sorry if you buy it. You will remember this post when it happens.
