I'm playing with the idea of this magsafe cases for the S23U. Does anyone do it and is it worth it? I see this such as card holders, finger rings, portable battery chargers.

I have a magsafe case and I enjoy it. I mostly use it for the pop socket attachment, since I came from apple a little while back I have a bunch of pop socket stuff and magsafe accessories.

What do you mean wasteful? Would you do the plug in chargers

With wireless charging, you only get about half of the energy that you put in. So a 5,000 mAh battery pack is actually a 2500 mAh battery pack. The mag safe battery packs are also far more expensive so you're paying about quadruple the price for half the functional capacity.

I would do the plug-in chargers, they are also quite wasteful and a bit of an environmental embarrassment. But with being plugged into the wall they aren't going to run out of juice twice as fast like the battery packs. And I'm already using a wireless charger for my phone anyway.

I use a ring finger with my magsafe compatible case. Magnetism seems strong enough but if I fling my hand hard enough,it will come off. 20230215_193037.jpg
