This may sound crazy but the Pixel 2XL seems small

I know it shouldn't but the 2XL feels small to me now after using it since early November. The odd part is I don't have large hands. It could be because I came from a V20 which is a different screen ratio.

I do know I can't ever go smaller but I almost think I need a bigger phone.....lol

I came from the Nexus 6 and my Pixel 2 XL felt small from day one! The Nexus 6 is noticeably wider and not as tall. Apparently the screen ratio of "thin and tall" is determined by folks who feel the need to use their phones with one hand. I'm definitely not in that camp. I'm ticked that the usable real estate of my phone is controlled by the one handers. So I have to put up with the new ratio of "thin and tall". I feel like I'm using a very very tall 5 inch phone!

You're right. That does sound crazy. ;) (just kidding)

I've been using an iPhone X for a few months and a baby Pixel 2 for a few weeks. The 2XL doesn't feel small at all to me. I did spend a few years using the iPhone plus sizes and last year with the Galaxy 8+ or Note 8, so it should be fine after an adjustment period.

My Note8 doesn't feel that different from my Moto Z tbh.

It's taller for sure, but in terms of using it with one hand, it's not that much of a difference for me.

My P2XL feels perfect, the N6 was just a little unwieldy and for sure the P2xl fits the pocket better.

I just adore my Pixel 2 XL. Best phone I ever owned. Still excited about it wven after 4 months.

I loved the size of the Nexus 6. Pixel 2 XL is a taller phone but thinner. I can definitely go for a larger screen no doubt. 6.3-6.5 range would be ideal. Google is rumored to have 3 devices this year so hopefully one of those phones come in that size.

I don't have the Pixel 2 XL, but rather it's kissing cousin, the LG V30. I know exactly what you mean! In my opinion its VERY size efficient. BIG phone in a small footprint! It's one of the things I love about the phone. :)

Same here. I prefer the screen size on my Nexus 6, but there don't seem to be any phones which match the Nexus 6. I compared the S9+ and the Pixel 2 XL in the store, and definitely preferred the Pixel 2 XL.

But I do like my new Pixel, and feel sure that I will become accustomed to it. No one ever seems to talk about how the phone manufacturers are actually making smaller screens (square inches) and calling them larger by dint of using diagonal size in their ads. Rather crooked, in my opinion.

I've had both and the v30 feels noticeably smaller imo than the 2xl.

Quite probably true. I don't have a Pixel 2 XL with which to compare, BUT I love the thinness of the V30. Remarkable phone!
