I love the combination of dual core power and a pure Android experience. Now if I could only SEE one in person I might be sold. I had been kicking around other options, like the Atrix for its dual core or the Nexus S for it's vanilla Android, but now I can get both!

Anyone else ready to jump on the G2X next Friday? Anyone know if Amazon would get something like this the first day?

I'm jumping. One of my managers has it and it looks AMAZING. I can't wait!

How is the display? That's one of those things I really can't judge from specs, previews, videos and such on the web.

It's great. The Galaxy S 4G is nice, but for me the screen on that phone is at times a little...overly colored? Like the color is overly saturated. I felt that this one had a nice balance to it.

Very impressive device. Don't know too much about LG's Android reputation but having the Stock/Vanilla Android OS along with AT&T and AWS HSPA+ bands is such a huge plus. The G2x is going to be the Android phone to have on T-Mobile.Really wish Verizon would offer Vanilla Android devices.

I am looking forward to the G2X but I'm not upping my contract for it.
I'll wait till someone else does that and puts theirs on Craigslist for trade.
I'm curios to find out what device LG is shipping 5300 units of to Google .

I'm definitely looking forward to this phone, I'll be jumping from the Verizon iPhone but have had previous Android phones. Had the Thunderbolt which only had a battery to last 5 hours for me. Can't wait for a speedy stock experience, does anybody know if Tmobile will stock a good amount of accessories? :)

For new phones accessories are generally good but obviously online is always a better resource. This phone is amazing and after playing with it, it makes me want it even more. The size, the screen, the speed, it's pretty darn incredible. I have to say, I was really (pleasantly) surprised by how quick you can transition between applications and everything. You can definitely tell a difference. It's going to be great!

You could always just pay the $500 in store and get a new device...Probably going to be about the same you'd pay on CL for someone else's phone. Just a thought :)

No I'll be trading my Sammysung Galaxy S 4G plus some $.
I've been using the GS4G for several weeks and its just not impressing me.
I was just sitting here debating with myself ( is that even possible ? )
whether to go back to the MyTouch 4G, because its the better phone hands down.

There always seems to be a bunch of people that up their contract
for the latest greatest phone and then a week later put the phone on Craigslist
for trade plus $. Basically looking to cash in on the new phone.

I will definitely be getting accessories for this phone, already ordered some screen protectors so i can have it on there Day 1!

i held it today at a TMO store and it's amazing! I also saw that they're getting speck brand cases for it and that's awesome! i love that brand!

can't wait til next weekend! :D

Looking forward to getting mine on wednesday morning. I've had Android before but at the moment i'm using a Verizon iPhone 4, so it'll be refreshing going back to what I'm use to

qustion say my phone the G2 broke would i just get another G2 as a replacmet or any phone to equal lesser value (G2X)

If you have the insurance and are looking to have it replaced, you'll get the same phone that was broken (in this case the G2). Otherwise you'd be purchasing the G2X at whatever cost your upgrade eligibility allows for, or just purchasing it outright.

I have used T-Mobiles insurance and they always seem to have a refurbished unit that they will send ya. Sometimes they are worse then what you originally had. I was hoping they didn't have it but they seem to have a large stockpile of crap refurbished old cell phones.
