I'm so excited to see this phone début! Great processor, hefty battery... I'm just not sure how I feel about the camera and the 6.4" size! But it sounds like a powerhouse phone that comes in some beautiful colours. What do you all think? Will you check it out?

They had me intrigued until I read about the display panel. Supposedly there's a Zenfone 6 Pro that's going to drop this year that has an OLED display. With stock Android and a battery that size I would be tempted to try Asus for the first time if that were the case. But LCD panels just look too washed out to my eyes.

It'll probably be pretty popular in Taiwan and the rest of the Asian market -- they do tend to like gigantic phones. I really liked the ZenFone 2, so I wouldn't mind giving this one a try!

Take my money. The first day this is for sale in the USA I am going to buy it. I have an iPhone XR now and the lcd does not bother me at all.

I agree, LCD's are fine, especially for the price this phone is being offered for. I think their take on the camera is brilliant.

I am concerned about a couple of things... the limited LTE Bands for T-Mobile is very important. My second major concern is the loose, rattling camera module that I have read about. So I will wait until there are owners reviews here in the US before I even consider spending any money on what appears to be an otherwise intriguing phone!

I wouldn't worry about quality control when any phone enter U.S marketing. We have a lot laws to protect consumer. If you don't like it return it.

You have to test out the phone yourself.

I wonder if it will be available in AT&T stores to be able to hold it and see how the camera works. The battery is intriguing.

This phone will only sell unlocked. No carriers will sponsor it yet. Your best beat will buy online.

Buying it online is good - then you can pay it off as you wish instead of being forced to pay set incremental amounts via a carrier. :)

Most of my phones are unlocked and either bought online or traded on Marketplace.
My concern would be if the mechanism of the camera breaks or fails. It's easy to take it to the AT&T store.
I will wait to see how people like it, but very interested!!

That's true. That's one of the fears of buying unlocked. But you can often buy insurance or they may come with a warranty.

The problem is you have to mail the phone somewhere, and usually they want you to wipe it. It's not a deal breaker though. Last time I bought a phone from AT&T was my Q10 maybe 6 years ago. Bought a few directly from BlackBerry, one from B&H, one from Amazon and several in trade. I even traded my laptop for a Windows phone to try it. LOL.
Was just hoping to depend on a carrier for a change. And I would like to hold one in my hand before I buy it. It's pretty large.

Interesting!!
B&H has 2 models:
6 GB ram, 64 GB storage
6 GB ram, 128 GB storage
Amazon has:
6 GB ram, 64 GB storage
8 GB ram, 256 GB storage

Which to get?
