This version of microsoft excel can't open with: activex controls

This ' Can't open file' message comes up on a Samsung Galaxy Tab s2 using a fully updated Microsoft Excel for Android app.
Can you please help?

The message comes up when I try to open file, imported from Office 2007, Windows 7
