This years power house devices. what will you choose? pick your most likely next device and share your reason. ie. carrier? form factor? hardware specs? hardware design? software skin?

I think the Samsung Galaxy S II is the most well rounded device to even be rumored lately and its already available on other continents. Hers to a quick release on US carriers with minimal changes. Unless 4G LTE/WiMax gets added in, don't touch it!

D3 on Verizon. Have to stick with Verizon because my lady and I get a killer deal through her job. Otherwise I would be jumping ship to a carrier that has another fully powered phone with a physical qwerty keyboard.

To early for me to vote good man, but Sammy, Motor, and Nexus fill my plate.

The phone I am most likely to get will be the S2 (sprint's) IF it doesn't have a keyboard. If it does, then I will get the Evo 3D

EVO 3D on Sprint. Don't really care about the 3D accept, but the rest of the specs are great.

Sent from my HTC EVO 4G using Tapatalk.

Evo3D offers some good specs that I will probably settle for when upgrade rolls around in September/October. Ideally, a phone with a 4" screen size would be great but I'm still open to anything a tad smaller or larger.

I think the Infuse might be the phone to have for some. The difference between 4.3" and 4.5" feels like more than the .2" it really is.

Something that comes to verizon with the latest os dual core probably. Hoping it isnt a motorola and would love if the next nexus came to verizon. I dont know why they wouldnt make the nexus for all 4 carriers. If apple could get the iphone gsm and cdma then google can get a nexus the same.

Think I would wait for the Nexus 3.. on the other hand I mite switch to the Evo 3D before my 30 days are up with the Nexus

Nexus Three. I'm probably going to have to switch carriers to get this phone, but that shouldn't be a big deal. Pure vanilla Android FTW.

It's the HTC sensation or the Nexus 3 for me. I really want the Nexus 3 but I don't know if I want to wait that long. Maybe both.

I would probably love having the Nexus 3 or Galaxy S 2, but since my Pre is inches from death I am upgrading as soon as I can to the Evo 3D.

Droid 3

I don't know that i'd really call the D3 a powerhouse device, but it will be my next device-even lacking LTE.

GS2 if I could upgrade this year. By the time I can upgrade, I'll be looking at the GS3!

It has same or better specs than other phones touted as a powerhouse. Latest rumor has it running TI OMAP dual core, as the bionic will supposedly have. I don't necessarily think it will have the same cpu, but closer to the bionic in performance than tegra2 devices.

Either way, droid3 will be my next phone. Or whover is the first to bring a dual core slider to vzw...

Man it's always something...Galaxy S II not having a side camera button and what's with having to remove the battery to get to the memory card Samsung? Everything else looks really good! I have an upgrade 6/19 with AT&T and haven't decided yet on Android overall coming from a BlackBerry. These phones really make my decision more difficult with so many choices.

But why are there so many phones for the Android OS and they miss on some pretty obvious stuff to make any of them a perfect choice?

Since I'm not familiar with all these choices, can anyone recommend a phone that looks as good as the Samsung Infuse (like this size too) or Galaxy S II but doesn't require removal of the battery for the SD card and has a camera side button?

Thanks.
