I just received an email from T-Mobile that I had been removed from Magenta Max and placed in Go5G Plus, a plan I can't even see on their site.

Has anyone else received this email?

Edit: Had to search Google for the above since it's not on their site.

Surprise! Some f'ing A-Tier "I don't know what I'm doing " executive logic going on here at T-Mobile. Per the chat;

Magenta Max is retired. I'm moved to Go5GPlus which I found and old comparison above. Go5GPlus is also retired. Yup. Moved from one retired plan to another. Supposedly my free lines actually carry over at least (for now). And anyone else in this boat will be dealing with the same crap again when they decide to sunset this plan. Next time they'll probably strip us of more features and the free lines.

Edit: Time ran out on OP. Needless to say, we are not getting the discount seen in the picture.

Edit 2: Squeezed more info out of the rep. They are doing all this JUST for the GFD Crapple iSheep device coming out.

Unbelievable. They are on a spiral downward from the top. From the Uncarrier to Anti-Carrier.

I got the same notice. I don't see any downside for me, since the cost remains the same and I retain the same benefits. This was a long time coming, and I was actually worried that they would make me pay for the switch to one of the current plans, so it doesn't bother me.

The downside is that they moved us to another retired plan. Next will come the excuse of "we gave you a courtesy/good faith upgrade once, with this latest upgrade your previous promotions cannot be applied".

That's what we'll be seeing next. There is no reason they couldn't have put us on the current high-tier or create a new "legacy plan". Or better yet, stop mimicking Verizon creating new plans every 3 months for absolutely no reason.

This is about the big picture of later, not the comparatively small right now.

You're not wrong.😕 I figure I'll ride it out, and if/when I'm forced to do something I don't want, I can always jump ship to Google Fi.

I still appreciate having Apple TV+ and Netflix (albeit ad-supported) free through my plan, though.

Until they take those away... Like they did with Netflix ad-free though that's because Netflix increases prices faster than the stock market prices. Not even an announcement, just hey BTW, your plan is gone effective (essentially) immediately.

I'm in a bad mood as a whole with how T-Mobile has changed so much over the few years I had them. They were especially amazing during the pissing matches on TV fighting Verizon and ATT.

The moment they were undeniably #1 they pulled a 270° and went parallel with Verizons bad practices.

I guess before lighting the torches, I'll stop sharpening the pitchfork and wait it out like you said and see what happens.
