Just wanted to get some feed back on ideas about charging.

Should we try and charge the phone any time we get a chance to or wait till the battery is lower?

I have a slower wireless charger at my desk and just place the phone there when ever I sit at my desk , think this will hurt prolonged battery life?

Would love the thought from the community .

The ideal state is to keep the batter between 40% and 80% as much as possible. When you go outside of that range, being above 80-90% is MUCH better than letting it drop below 20%.

my intent was to continue charging my s7 when i go to bed like i have with all my other phones. But i charge with the Samsung wireless fast charger and it only takes about 1 hour to charge my phone. So i have been just putting it on the charger in the morning before i hit the shower, and eat breakfast. I have been using about 50% in a 24 hour period. The Samsung wireless fast charger has a fan in it to keep things cooler. I have felt my phone while its charging and it does not feel hot at all.

If that works for you, there's no need to charge it anymore than that

I'm personally planning to use a standard 5V charger (from my previous S5) when I charge overnight. Fast charge will be used during the day if/when I need a boost, but it's easier on li-ion technology to charge at a slower rate. Take it from a guy who used to work for a li-ion battery manufacturer...

Wired charging at work. Wireless charging in home office. Both as needed. Charge overnight wired. I also keep a spare battery charged overnight as well.
