Thunderbolt 1X Charge and 2 DX's 3G

Why is it that the 3 other phones in the exact spot get 3G and I get 1X is there something I am missing, please help me

reboot the phone, did you get the ota update last week? Are you rooted?

TB runs on a different 3G than the others

Non rooted, I have the update, and I am at my work place so I have rebooted the phone etc, and it just stays in 1X

call verizon. Some folks called in and they changed something at their end. It might solve it.

I was having issues with ehprd, forced it to rev.a and it stays in3g.

As stated in other threads, VZW is not changing anything on their end when you call in. Since you can not dial *228 from a LTE device, the phone needs to be able to update and reprogram itself. Doing a battery pull, which includes a SIM pull and waiting 60 secs before powering back up, reprograms the phones roaming and tower info. This equates into dialing *228.

Is the battery backing on the phone? Without that you won't get good signal.

Had this problem too. Only got 1X for 3 straight days and I'm in NYC (one of the best LTE spots in the country). I was advised by VZW to do a Factory Reset and it worked prefectly. 4G 24/7 now.

ahhh decisions decisions. I may just have someone help me root my phone, backup all my apps and reset it then. Thanks everyone
