Thunderbolt Alarm not going off?

If you have another alarm on your phone( Alarm clock plus) it can cause conflicts and the alarms wont funtion correctly. This happened to me with my incredible and made me late two days in a row. If you put an anti virus or app killing app on your phone you should check your settings or remove them all together.

Alarm disappears!!!

The alarm clock at the bottom of any clock has disappeared. Does anybody know why? Or how to recover it? I now wake up every 30 minutes to see if I need to get up....HELP

I'm having the same problem, although with a droid 2. I don't have a task killer and I haven't changed anything. This happened to me once before and I figured I had just made a mistake, but when my alarm didn't go off today, I made sure to check everything. The alarm icon was still visible, it was set to play in silent mode, volume was up full, the right time was set, and it was set to go off every day. It has been working fine for the past few months and suddenly it fails. Really frustrating.

I have also had a problem with my alarm NOT going off for work the last two mornings. At work I noticed that my phone had spontaneously decided I lived in Lithuania--I suspect it "moved me" overnight and automatically changed the time on the phone to match Lithuania. Since that time was evening, it probably leapfrogged my morning alarm.

If this is the case that would truly be annoying, as I have yet to figure out how to force my phone to lock onto my actual location north of Houston. It rarely recognizes where I really live . . .

I am having a similar issue. I had my alarm set for 8am and it was working fine, going off until I either snoozed or dismissed it.

I changed the time to 7am and now it goes off for about 2 seconds and appears to automatically snooze itself. It continues to do this until I unlock the screen and lock it again. After i've done that and it goes off again, it will continue to ring correctly until I either snooze or dismiss it.

Never had this happen before but it started two or 3 days ago.

Mine does the auto snooze thing too. I'm using an alarm I downloaded now.

Add me to the list of people whose ThunderBolt has been automatically snoozing itself after a few seconds of going off. Not using any antivirus or task killers on this phone.

May end up downloading a 3rd party alarm, but it's a real shame to have to do that. HTC really needs to sharpen up.

I too have been suffering from the no alarm or 1 second-Auto-Snooze alarm for the past week +.
I assume it is part of the reboot issue as someone else has has opined.

I am having this problem at home where I'm usually on WiFi, but I am getting fringe 4G when I'm upstairs in the bedroom (when I need the alarm).

However, this morning it worked! The only difference was I shut off WiFi last night. I'm wondering if 4G and WiFi are fighting for data dominance? Possible?

I was pleasantly surprised that this worked again this morning.
No WiFi and the alarm worked.
I'm on stock with ota.
Tonight i'll go back to WiFi on and see if the problem returns.

Yes, I was able to reproduce the problem by having both WiFi and 4g active last night. This morning I had white screen and no alarm.

I have a friend of mine reporting the same thing, told her to kill wifi before bed, if that doesn't work, I will advise her to download a 3rd party app.

I have this problem too. I actually suspect it's the "Side button behavior" setting (which doesn't work at all btw, my side buttons do not snooze nor do they dismiss when they are set). I noticed it was auto-snoozing because I have music set as my alarm tone, and a few times I heard the speakers click on to try to play something before auto-snoozing off.

After I set the side button behavior to "none" (because they don't work anyway) I haven't had the problem again.

Just a guess but in my mind it's worked so far. Anyone else experience this too?

I also have had the problem and my device is completely stock. I've given up and now use Gentle Alarm.
