Thunderbolt Auto-Unrooter

That's great! Do you list this tool on other sites or only here? There have been surprisingly few reviews here. I would have expected that a LOT of people could really use your service for returns.

Thanks for sharing!

Probably thunderboltforums.com, its in the development section

This is a really nice unrooter. Thanks for this. I had a little problem with it where pushing the file took forever, so I manuallly copied it over and changed the name, and commented out lines 246 and 247.

Code:
::support_files\adb shell rm /sdcard/PG05IMG.zip >NUL
::support_files\adb push support_files\Stock-ROM.zip /sdcard/PG05IMG.zip

Maybe I should not have done this, but it worked, and I can send that defective phone back to get a new one. Thanks again for the nice tool.

I didn't get that your response about it taking "forever" was sarcasm. Thanks.

just used this to unroot from the old root method (non revolutionary) and it worked just fine no issues at all

This tool worked FLAWLESSLY, and in a very reasonable amount of time. The whole process for me, from download to a fresh, unrooted, ready to use phone was about 20 minutes. Thanks for such a great and easy to use tool. Now I can take my TBolt back to Verizon for a replacement (battery won't charge past about 86%.)

seems like this is the tool I am looking for. Have a couple of questions though. I have to return my wife's bolt back to verizon for a warranty exchange. I rooted this phone waaaaay back when it first came out and then eventually pushed shadowmite's hboot over the existing for permanent s-off. I did not run revolutionary. Now, the phone in question has a borked usb port, so I dont think that this tool will actually work, per se. But, I was wondering if there is a manual way I could do this. I know that there is a method on here for manual, but the download link for the "..... _no_Hboot__..." file is pretty much dead as I have tried literally more than 10 times over the last couple of days with and without a download manager to download it and the download stop/ fails every time. I was wanting to know if the stockROM .zip is the same as the no_hboot file linked here :http://forums.androidcentral.com/th...oot-unroot-thunderbolt-revolutionary.html#anb post #4. Thanks for the help.

There's an app called thunderbolt restore, seems like the easiest option. $2 on Google play

not sure I trust an app to do this. ADB doesnt scare me, but this app does. I am not sure but I think that I just need the stock rom and the stock hboot and rename them to PG05IMG and flash in appropriate order via the phone through bootloader. Thats why I was wondering if the stockrom.zip in your tool is the same as the one posted in the thread I linked to because the dwonload link for that file is fubar. thanks

App does work, had to turn in my phone for replacement. Best 2 bucks I've spent. I'm sure if you Bork your phone the Dev will help. Having a bad review with something like that isn't good for biz.

I did email a question and got no response. I simply asked if the app is supported in case I ran into a problem. Never got an answer.

Just to be clear I'm talking about the paid app.not the op website.
