That's ok, there is actually only one haiku in this thread so far, lol. The idea that haiku is three lines with five syllables, seven syllables, five syllables is correct but misleading when done in english. Japanese syllables are much shorter, so seven syllables in japanese convey a lot less information than seven syllables in english. So in order to convey the proper length and content of haiku in english do not count syllables but beats, haiku should be about 2-3-2 beats. So Green_Lasers example is closer to proper haiku than any of the others.
Thought I'd give you guys something to think about rather than the Tbolt, lol.
