I agree that stock android has pretty poor battery life. However, I found that once I got the community rom that was completely debloated, I can get around 36 hours out of mine. I think the difference lies in how apple does not let carriers put their "value added" software on the iphone. At least on the fascinate, the bloatware is hard wired into the framework of the os, consuming battery. As I said, now that I am on a completely android without bloat os (line ios has no bloat) my battery life is awesome.

Now if I can get 36 hours, I will get the thunderbolt. How much usage/uptime is out of the 36 hours?

This is for all you Android user. If you want better battery life and be truly mobile without hooking up to the wall socket every few ours, COME TO IOS Apple iPhone!

I know IOS is supposedly good on battery but I cannot believe that. No way you haven't charged your phone at all for 19 hours and used it for 12 hours and the battery is still at 56%. What does "usage" account for, maybe that's the key word?
I'm not looking to flame at all, just very curious. If that's true then holy crap.




And to answer your question about uptime over 36 hours-

Display on for 3.3 hours total. 40 mins of Pandora and talk where the display was off

I don't need voice and data. I had that when I was with AT&T YEARS ago so that's nothing new thunderbolt users. What good is it if your battery dies in 2 hours if your talking and surfing the web at the same time

I havent seen you over my shoulder monitoring my usage...are you stalking me...I don't charge my phone every two hours but nice try. I charge my phone when I go to gym in the morning and am good ALL DAY. However, I don't have to explain anything to you mom.

It is true, I have been listening to music, tethering as of right now using my mac to type on this site. I have been using it as normal. Here is another screen shot, its about dead now.
