Thunderbolt update news you can use

The "to a person" bit is wrong. Not everybody is having "major" issues with rebooting, some of us have almost no problem at all.

they were determined to get it fixed, they would just release the leaked MR2 update. It has fixed a number of devices as evidenced in this forum. I don't know what Verizon is doing right now. Based on the number of devices that are being exchanged and people that are upset, you would think this would be their top priority... but somehow, I very much doubt that.

Top priority is to make more money so I bet all the focus is on the soon to be implemented data tiers.

Exactly.

It completely blows my mind that they haven't. When I installed it I went from reboots 4-12x a day to about one every day or so for about 4-5 days then went 107+ hours (just over 4 days) without a reboot. Then I had one reboot for some reason, then another a day and a half later and now once again I am at 115hrs of up-time (almost 5 days).

It is a 100% fix? No. There are some who have reported similar things, some who have actually better results, and yes a very few who it made it worse, but for most of us it made it significantly better. Just because they released it would not mean that they would stop developing and making it better bit it would go a LONG way toward showing that they are indeed serious about fixing it. As they say talk is cheap, it's time for some action.

I know in another thread I theorized the possibility that there was another bug in the release that we hadn't uncovered yet but the more time passes the more convinced I am that there probably isn't.

To those who are unable to deal with the reboots: Install the MR2 leak, it will be better than you have and you can concentrate on enjoying your phone and spend less time and energy grumbling about it. Should you have to do this? NO! But sometimes in life we do things we should not have to do.

as we speak I am flashing the leaked mr2 to my refurbed (don't get me started on that) bolt because I had forgotten how bad the reboots were.
