Want to root but it says to turn off firewall in video how do I do that also can I unroot to get new updates

To turn off firewall, just click the security icon on the bottom right of your computer screen. From there it'll take you to the security center and you'll have the option to turn off the firewall.
If you root, you will not want to unroot unless you're sending the phone back for a warranty issue. To get the latest update, just download the latest update in a rooted, debloated rom form and install it.
