When I migrate from outlook new to Thunderbird the contacts have no email addresses and when I try to put one in the To: As in auto complete it doesn't work
Please advise

David replied to two of my posts so I wanted to thank him.
I will work on the advice he gave me and hopefully get back.

David -thank you for setting up my thunderbird. I awoke and it was there and working. However it had 365 in it and I do not have a subscription to 365. I am 85 and do not want my eldrly non tech wife to be stuck with a subscription as I am on thin ice. If having 365 in the server will initiate a subscription I will remove it and try w/o it but if it is ok as is please let me know and thank you very much. Do I have to call MS?

Apologies for the wrong name. I came here for help and got it. I began to build and set up T-Bird then bed time rolled around. In the AM I saw T-Bird all fininished but it had 365 in one of the servers. I don't have a subscrioption so investigated and found you cannot involve MS if you don't subscribe. I only have Microsoft office 2019 home and student which is expired but I have for perpetuity so I still use it. Therefore I removed all traces of Thunderbird and 365 hoping that that will free me from any penalty; I then came back here to thank who I thought was the person who helped me as David but I guess I was wrong so I thank the person who helped me and I don't mind if you tell me who you were.

I started with a clean computer and began the process of installing Thunderbird.
After I had completed it I checked one of the servers and it had 365 on it again.
I don't subscribe to 365 so I shouldn't use it. I therefore removed Thunderbird.
Does anyone here know how I'm getting 365 on a server when I don't put it there myself?
Secondly, I think I'll try BetterBird because I'm trying to avoid the 365 and I hope it doesn't pop up again.
Thank you
Peter

How are you getting Microsoft 365 on Linux? It is only available for Windows and Mac OS.
