TicWatch E disconnects from phone

My TicWatch E, about a year old, running the latest WearOS, and Bluetooth paired with my Samsung Galaxy 9+ running the latest WearOS and Android (through Verizon), disconnects from the phone. This has been happening occasionally for several months (though not for several months immediately after I got the watch), but in the last few weeks, it happens several times a day. The only way I’ve found to reconnect is by restarting the watch. If I don’t notice it for a few hours, it runs down batteries on both watch and phone, apparently trying to reconnect. I’ve seen this reported in numerous forums and for other watches/phones, but mostly they say the watch is only disconnected from the Internet. In my case, it seems totally disconnected from the phone and I receive no notifications. I’ve tried several proposed fixes, but none work for me. It’s making the watch useless as a smart watch. Most of the posts I’ve found are several months old. Does anyone have any recent information on this?

Have you tried factory resetting the watch, deleting the Bluetooth profile and then connecting to the watch fresh.

Thanks, pkcable. I did the factory reset as you suggested and so far no disconnects, but I’ve seen that before so I’m waiting another day to be sure. But I don’t know how to delete the Bluetooth profile.

Go to Settings, then Bluetooth & device connection, IF your device is connected then click on it and then click forget. IF it's not connected then click on Previously Connected Devices, THEN click on the watch, THEN click on forget.

BUT since its working now, just leave it be unless it starts acting up again. :)
