Tight fit on Type-C port? Is this a bad thing?

Anyone else's 6P have a super tight-fitting type-c port? Like when I unplug the stock cable I have to give it a good yank before it lets go. Maybe I'm just cautious after coming from micro USB.

Is this a bad thing - won't it mean that there will be more stress on the connector than the cable, meaning it's more likely to damage the connector over a long period of time?

Mines is fairly snug also. Not to where I think it is a problem but definitely tighter than the older style.

Mine is pretty tight, but I do not feel like I am going to break it at any point either.

I'd rather it be snug than loose. If you have to really exerts force to remove it as if it's stuck, that might be a problem.

I'd agree with snug. Feels right because over time it will loosen and I'd rather it not be falling out like my OPO was.

FWIW, I think this is the coolest thing to come along in quite some time. I'll be ordering in January...

One of the reasons I miss wireless charging.. Having to plug and unplug all the time. over time it's going to wear out the port or an awkward yank or fall could do some damage.

However I've been watching Znaps and I agree.. I fully plan to invest in a few of them. Only question I had (and I've emailed to verify) is in my house we have an iPhone, plus two micro usb chargers and now the usb type C.. I don't see why it wouldn't but I was asking if say I have the proper fitting in my phone and on the cable would an Apple lightning cable charge my 6p since it's just a magnet that pulls the connection together???? not sure why it wouldn't but you never know....

Definitely more snug than a micro USB. This can be advantageous if you are plugging in from a table and accidentally knock the phone off.
