Hi everyone,

I'm a member of this forum since earlier today... after I got a bit fed up with the restrictions of my iPhone.

Happy Birthday and welcome!! As a fellow Taurean, believe me when I say you will soon be obsessed with making your phone perfect. Unfortunately perfect has no definition when it comes to phones, so it's an endless pursuit.

Sent from my totally awesome Sprint Galaxy Nexus, even if I don't know all its secrets yet.

Thanks...
Haha, yes I know what you mean, I already had that perfection-issue with my iPhone partly.
But I have to say I'm looking forward to this road to perfection.
* Only thing I'm NOT looking forward to, is getting used to the size difference (iPhone 4S/Samsung Galaxy S4 are quite different in size)

Thanks...

I was really concerned about the phone size - I have a Galaxy Nexus and had been using my iPod Touch for years. While it was smaller than my Palm TX that I had prior, the GNex still seemed huge. Now when I see Iphones, I can't believe how tiny they are.

Welcome to Android and the forums! Hope you enjoy your new device!

Thanks guys, I have to say that after a few months I really like this community... specially now with the new Nexus 5, it's great to get all the latest info.

Thanks guys...
Currently I don't have an S4 anymore, since I swapped it for a Nexus 4,which I can't say I regret for a single second.

Yes, the S4 might be a bit higher ranked (hardware wise), I just couldn't get used to the TouchWiz interface.
Also, I might had a buggy S4 from the start but mine was freezing quite occasionally.
So all in all, whatever the cause was, my first - and probably only - experience with Samsung has been a very bad one. :(

- Right now I'm preparing to get my hands on the new Nexus 5 next month.

Welcome to Android Central. I realize your initial introduction was back in May but what can I say I'm a bit slow now a days. 25 years old and I feel like I've lost a step already. ;)

Sorry to hear about that buggy S4! :(:banghead:

I also had a first S4 that I had to exchange for another Galaxy S4. But in my case I stuck to my guns and really love my GS4!:cool:

This is my first Samsung phone and didn't have any problems getting use to TouchWhiz.

Good luck with the Nexus 4, still a good device.
