Lapse It make it easy to capture astonishing time-lapse videos in your Android-powered device.

Some features of the application

? Well designed UI improving visual and usability
? Capture resolution up to 720P
? Capture using memory (faster then other apps) or the conventional disk method
? Render your sequence both in JPEG sequence or FLV video.
? No restrictions for capture length or frames
? Easily adjustable settings
? Built-in video player
? Upload directly to YouTube
? Cross-platform developed in Adobe Air

You can find a free version in Android Market, you either use the attached QR code or this link.

You can also find a promotional video and more information at lapseit.com

I hope you like,

Thanks

I really like this, and jumped all over purchasing the full version.

One feature request I have though, is an option so the screen doesn't time-out and turn off while the captures are being done.

Does it continue to capture if the screen turns off?

Can't find in Market. Anyone else not find it? Scanning the QR above comes up with zilch.

Hi Devan, when in capture mode the application is supposed to prevent it from going into sleep mode, that is not working with you? Please let me know.

Thanks.

I just downloaded the full version and mine goes to sleep without recording anything, I also could not access my camera for about ten minutes after that. Droid X. (edited).......Camera works okay now but still will not record, goes to sleep unless timeout is disabled. Will not save settings without trying several times. Very buggy, keeps doing things on its own such as resetting the settings and jumps to different screen when trying to save, just pressed "capture" and it shut down. Wasted $1.99 My fifteen minutes is up without being able to refund. Free version is better. Bummer.

(EDITED) Okay, downloaded update, working great now on Droid X, buy it, well worth the $2!

Sorry, I did some beta testing but you know, there are a lot of devices and I can't manage to test in all. Do the free version work okay and the paid version if buggy? That is strange because they both are the samething just with or without limitations.

Sorry for that and if you describe more detailed what are the bugs I can fix and I will provide a updated version.

Thanks

Yes, in Capture mode, my screen still goes to sleep.

I have not seen the other issues posted above, however. It is very stable for me. Bell Galaxy S Vibrant on 2.2

Thank you for make me aware of that Davan, we had a big update on the app and the function to keep the screen enabled was really not working. I sent a updated version for the Android Market, when you have a opportunity to test the new version, please give me a feedback if the issue was fixed.

I read one comment that "(It) Requires Adobe Air, which is a 16 MB install ... "
Can you comment on that please? Thanks.

Hi, the application requires Adobe AIR, it was developed using Flash Builder, but I really don't understand why people gave one star for the application just because of that ...

There are a lot of good applications developed with using AIR, 16 Mb is nothing, specially now that you can move your apps to SD card and AIR is a one-time installation. The application itself have 1 Mb.

That solve your question?

Thank you.

I just updated from the market and gave it a test run. My screen no longer goes to sleep. Perfect! Thanks so much for the quick update! :)

Hi guys, I just updated the app with some new features:

• New resolution support now ranging from 240P to 720P

• New time-lapse sharing interface integrated with facebook, twitter, google buzz, tumblr, email and sms.

• Added a function to show temporary files directly on your captured list.

• Now you can store your YouTube credentials.

• Tweaks in user interface and in performance and bug fixes.

• In the next update you can expect a video trimmer in your preview interface and a gallery to apply color styles in your films.

You can see and download in Android Market at:

I hope you like and give me some feedbacks.

Hi maurrubio, it's a long time since you posted on this thread but I'm hoping you'll be receptive to a request!

I understand that it's necessary for the app to prevent the phone switching off the display, etc etc, but I'm wondering if it's possible for you to include an optional mode where the app won't constantly update its display to show what the camera is seeing. Perhaps it could display the camera's view until you press "record" on the new capture, thus allowing the user to line up the timelapse, and then just show a generic / blank form or some simple statistics during the recording. That way, the battery can be conserved further. I am hoping to use your app to record timelapses of offroad bikerides and purchased it this past weekend, but my first outing resulted in a disappointing 1h26m of recorded footage before the battery gave in, which was far less than I'd hoped for!

Best regards,
Nick
