I recently travelled and didn't have service but used wifi. I changed the clock on my phone manually. When I returned I put it back to network time. Now the timestamps on my photos are all wrong.

I tried setting the local time manually but that doesn't fix it. Any ideas?

Nexus 6p 6.01 latest patches..

Thanks

Are you saying that photos you've taken after returning from your trip have the wrong timestamp? Is the timezone wrong? And what is the system clock telling you--is that correct?

No, time on photos since I returned is incorrect. System time is correct and differs from time on the photo.

May be fixed. I think I had the date set wrong.... Funny I noticed it because of the inaccurate times on these posts. I am not sure why the date wasn't set when on network time...Thanks sorry

I just noticed that my phone has done this since around the change back from daylight savings. My phone is set correctly and has correct time/date/timezone, but photos were all 1 hour behind.

Nexus 6 running Nov 7.0.

I can't verify the timestamps for photos taken on Sunday Nov 5 (I have no reference to check when I actually took them), and then on Monday I traveled to Dallas (an hour back) and all of those timestamps from being in Central timezone were fine.

I noticed last night that since then my photos show they were taken 1hr earlier than actual. Someone I mentioned it to suggested rebooting (which fixed it) but I'm curious if this was an artifact of the cutover from daylight time or from moving timezones.

The photos with the bad timestamps still have the earlier time instead of the correct one.
