Tiny Death Star Help

Ok, so I've never played Tiny Tower of the Death Stat variant, so I need a little bit of help here.

I started playing the game, and I can already see myself wasting hours and hours playing. The only thing I don't understand or can't seem to prevent is the game continuing to play after I exit out.

I'll play for 15 or 20 minutes and quit to do something real life related lol, and when I open it up a few hours later the Emperor and Lord Vader have built 3 new levels, hired employees, and interrogated Rebel scum.

Is there any way to pause the game or prevent it from operating of its own volition?

I picked the game up yesterday but I have yet to have floor built while I was gone. I've only had stores continue to sell stock and timers tick down.

An update was released today, perhaps it fixed your issue

I downloaded a few hours ago. I think its because when you exit or press the back button it does not quit the whole game but runs it in the back ground. You need to access task manger and exit from there to fully quit the game. Hope this helps!
