Tip to make the FPS work flawlessly

This (Note 10+) is my first phone with an in screen finger print sensor and I hated it. To a point that I changed to face unlock yesterday.

Got this video off reddit this morning and to my surprise it works amazingly well. Check it out. This is how you should set up your finger prints.

Mine just wasn't reliable. Most of the times it worked but sometimes it didn't. Enough for me to have moved away from it. Glad its working out for everyone

I've discovered that mine does not work well if my finger is totally dry (like needs lotion dry after hand washing) . If there is just tiny bit of moisture to my finger it works fast and efficiently. If my finger is dry it hardly works at all. Lesson - use lotion after washing hands.

I'd have to say this finger print sensor has improved over the S10+. I don't use screen protectors and using without a screen protector improves it also.

Yeah mine didn't need any tricks either. Worked great right out of the box

I have tried a few different methods and it has gotten better but compared to my pixel 3 it's still very slow. I have watched every video and read everywhere I could but still not up to par for me hopefully there will be an update.

I agree. It seems to work more consistently that the S10+.

Sounds like Samsung has then listened to the feedback from owners of the s10 phones and possibly further improved the fps on the Note 10 phones.
