Using nookie froyo, I recently upgraded to a class 10 card, and was surprised to get some intermittent lag and some force-closes . . .
Since the only part of the nook's internal memory that's used with nookie is the cache, I thought that might be causing problems. So I removed the sd, booted into Clockwork Recovery, cleared cache + dalvik cache, and now it's smokin'!! No force-closes either.
