This may have been covered, but I couldn't find anything specific. All I want the watch to do basically is show my Txt messages and phone calls for notifications. How do I find how to O only give certain notifications? Also any other tips for battery life optimizing would be awesome.

go into setting in the wear app and u can pick which app will show on ur watch. but honestly I use my watch light to moderate and after a 16 hr day I usually have like 30% left. if u are not seeing this kind of performance u need to figure out why.

Just put it on, and use it like it's intended purpose. Preview your emails, preview your texts, respond to texts if you can't get to your phone, control your bluetooth earbuds during the your work out.

Don't use it like a toy. Don't use it to respond to each and every text. Use your phone like you normally would. Don't go out of your way to not use it, don't go out of your way to use it. It will last you your whole day.

One good tip, if you are able, say at your office, if you take the watch off and set it down, even if it's just 30 min. To 1 hour a day it will increase the battery life 5-10% that relates to about 1.5-3hours extra hours.

I've seen differing reports about leaving a device on the charger for long periods of time even when fully charged. I may be a little paranoid, but I don't generally like to do that if I can help it.

I've found that because the watch charges so quickly, I can take it off and charge it when I get into bed, then when I'm actually ready to go to sleep it's fully charged. So I take it off the charger and turn it off for the night. This way it doesn't sit on the charger all night.

Theoretically it shouldn't hurt it at all to be on the charger indefinitely. Once charged, it will just trickle to keep it at 100%. You can't "overcharge" the 360 or other modern devices.

OP: As for battery life, doesn't seem to matter what I do with the watch (with my usage pattern), I have tons of power after a 16 hour day. I don't have any strange apps loaded and don't use ambient mode.
