Titanium Backup Issue

[Fortunate Fiasco]

I just rooted my phone (thanks to this forum and skunkape60!) and I downloaded Titanium Backup first, from the Play Store. After entering the application, however, I get the following message:
"Warning - System Configuration. Your system settings will prevent you from restoring applications. To correct this, go to your phone's Settings, then in "Applications" and tick the "Unknown Sources" checkbox. Seems easy enough, but after going into settings the closest thing to "Applications" I see is application manager, which doesn't have any unknown sources box. The only thing that I was able to find was "Unknown Sources" in Security for downloading non-Play Store apps, which I have checked, but upon reentering the Titanium app I still receive the error message. (Plus this was downloaded in the play store, anyways). Can anyone tell me how I should resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.

It is the box in the security section, uncheck it.

I just flashed a new ROM following the instructions here regarding on how to use TiBu.

I did that and it is still displaying the error, however, after ignoring the message it did allow me to back up all my apps. Assuming everything else works, it's no biggie I guess. Thanks for the link, & I will be sure to check it out!

Close Titanium. Go to Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging. Check that box. Wait a few seconds, reopen Titanium. Let it configure (always takes about 10 -15 seconds when I don't go in it for a while).

Don't know why that is the needed setting, but it works.

Forgot to mention, get in the habit of unchecking it when you are done. Leaving it checked can be a security issue, and it makes Anti Virus apps go nuts.
