Tizen 3.0 bug?

Tizen 3.0 new 6 icon launcher doesn't seem to launch downloaded apps like CNN or yelp. If you clear all your recent app and launch it from the new launcher. It doesn't seem to work. But if u launch it regularly it does. Can anyone confirm? Also. Why is there a star next to some apps?

I don't use the CNN or Yelp app, so I can't help there. But the other apps launch fine. I'm guessing the stars represent a favorite app, or an app you have a widget or shortcut set for. Also, go into your Gear app on your phone and check for app updates. I updated to 3.0 2 days ago and yesterday I had several apps that needed updating. It may be that CNN and Yelp aren't compatible with 3.0 just yet.

yes.. i already did a factory reset and reinstall every app manually and been checking every hour for updates. As for the stars, its not a major thing.. It really makes no difference. So if you have a star now, hold down the new launcher icon, press EDIT and just remove any app with the negative symbol. The app will still be there but the star won't. Main issue is apps not loading.

I still think it's coming back to 3.0 just dropping. There may be some 3rd party apps that don't work correctly without an update.
