Yes, I woke up and saw that the S Gear app updated... but i didn't see anything with updating the phone and it wasn't tizen 3.0 Lol

These updates are to the Gear Manager app... Firmware updates are a separate thing entirely

I got an actual firmware update a few days ago. Not sure it was anything groundbreaking. Probably security updates.

Updates to the Gear Manager app don't bring up the black Galaxy connection screen.

Yes they do. These are not firmware updates. I've gotten several gear manager app updates that result in that connection screen.

Yeah, I swim with mine all the time.

I'm a yacht captain and the only thing holding me back from buying an S3 is the inability to swim with it c.q. immerse in water. If I swam with it in salt water I would have to thoroughly rinse it. In the Samsung brochure it even says "do not shower" with it on let alone swim with it. Yet you say it is possible to swim whilst wearing it. That would be great. I understand that i would not have to go deep with it on but think that a bit of swimming can do no harm?

Yeah but if anything happens, you're out of warranty though.

I can see Sammy wanting to add Bixby to 3.0, but no please. I didnt use on phone and I dont want to bloat my watch with it either. For those who use it like it great, not me tho

I shower with mine all the time and have no issues. I've even gotten in the pool with it on.
