Tmo does not have V20 in stores

I noticed T-Mobile seems to be the only carrier that has already stopped offering the $200 trade in. With all the trouble I've had trying to get one it seems like they might be having some supply shortages.

200 trade in was for people who are ordered for t mobile only. My local stores have the v20 in stock.

Tmobile site says backordered.

I have a AT&T v20 from the first day pre order. This reported lack of stock all across the board is strange. It's a few and far between thing. After the Note 7 disaster I sure am nervous. Maybe there is a hush hush issue LG is dealing with. No way would LG mention it, not after the Samsung disaster. Like I said just a fear only, hopefully it's just really a stock issue. Then again, I really don't see how they blasted through the stock that quick, v20 was barely avail on release day and it's not like the forums and alike are buzzing with activity from new users

I pre ordered on the 24th my expected ship date is 11/19 - 12/12 now. All the stores around me are out of stock and the reps I spoke with at the stores said they only had a handful to sell. At this point I may just cancel my order and hold onto my s7 edge for a few months when the price will drop on the v20.

I live in South Florida and there are only two lg v20s in stores in the whole district, (probably gone now) for AT&T. I don't understand this, what is going on? Im trying to get rid of my recalled note 7 and LG is not shipping these out to stores yet?

They literally had 2 months to stock up...strange or just bad management by lg

I'm going to be well ticked off if I have to wait for weeks when I finally order. I'm waiting a little longer for multiple reasons (unexpected domestic financial hit, plus hate being an early adopter) but didn't anticipate that meaning a 2 month wait if this is how things are going. :-/

Maybe there quietly fixing all those camera lenses before they release
Well LG did terrible with the G5 sales..they did not have the resources to even barely promote the LG v20 in the U.S. Most likely, there is a deficit in finances and they were not able to stock so many and wanted to see how they will perform before sending more stock out.

Even the G5 had some users breaking the cAmera lens...camera lens can break without proper case protection...even some iphone 7 plus users have broken theirs and their lens is more prone to stratches than the v20 lens

I don't know but it's looking like pre-order is the way to go on all phones these days....the N7 wasn't that great either. Year after year I had to pre-order because in stores supply was at an all time low. I think manufactures these days are producing phones as orders are coming in. I ordered the V20, because I didn't want to be stuck without a phone in case they decide to brick the N7. With the N7 debacle, most stores are out of everything real quick.

Ordering online is nice if youre not impatient and also of course you don't waste time with undertrained/under informed sales reps in stores. Only thing with mine, I pre-ordered then picked up in the store.

Neither did my local Best Buy where I bought and turned in my Note 7 Friday the 28th the supposed day of release of the V20 so I had to end up getting a S7 Edge instead until they do get them in hopefully before my 14 day window is up. I want that $200 gift card they are offering. Seems like a limited release. I believe my local AT&T store has them in stock (my carrier) but they are only offering $200 account credit for next month's bill. Don't understand why the V20 release is not more widespread and taking advantage of all the Note 7 folks waiting for this to release and swap out. This S7 edge is growing on me I think I would miss the wireless charging, water resistance with the V20...

Yeah, I heard TM had a nice cash back bonus. That probably boosted sales along with the Note 7 fiasco. I had so many issues trying to swap out my Note 7 during the recall, and then the S7 Edge sold out after the Note 7 was discontinued, I was at my Verizon store at open day one it was in stock. I bought the first one they sold! ;)

The price hasn't dropped on the G5 or V10 in stores so I'm not expecting them to drop it on the V20....at least not at the Verizon price of 672.

I think you are right. Lg isn't in a position to risk having too much stock sitting around financially. With the g5 not having the sales numbers they wanted they probably didn't want to risk it with the v20. I think tmobile has been pushing preorder so because they knew they wouldn't have a ton of stock for release and that would help lg gauge the demand. I hope with the note 7 debacle this helps lg, but they need to get it in gear to capitalize.

The G5 can be had for $299 on T-mobile for new customers who picks the T-Mobile one plan. It's normally $499. I tried talk the CSR into giving it to me for $299 but no luck lol. She did however give me a free sim card via overnight when I told her the G5 was not worth $499 and I was gonna go buy a unlock Honor 8 instead.

On the subject, I called 3 stores around the Milwaukee at 10:30am. First store was sold out, second one didn't bother answering, hell they even hung up on me. Third one had some in stock and I got mine there with JoD.

Yea maybe not so much in stores, but third party retailers tend to discount LG phones prey quickly from time to time. Not to mention you can buy them used for a steal (there are several g5's going between $275 and $400 in my area on Craigslist.) I think I paid $350 for my wife's g4 through T-Mobile in April which is only 9 months after it's release.

Considering the tax, down payment, bs service fee and shipping on my v20 was about $140 I'm thinking about just going the Craigslist route in a few months.

I am also on at&t in south Texas. Not a single store in San Antonio has any in stock. I found 1 available yesterday (Sunday), which I quickly bought, but I had to drive 70 miles each way to get it. I called ahead to have them hold it for me. I found it in Kerrville. The rep said they had several in stock. Haven't gotten to play with it much, but so far, I'm really liking it. I'm coming from a Note 4.
