Got notification as well, in Chicago area. At work with no Wi-Fi so will wait until tonight when I'm at home to download. Hopefully no problems after update

Please let us know how it goes :)

I'm in Seattle and received the update notification today also. Downloaded, installed and then factory reset.

It has been smooth as butter. No issues so far, but I do notice my signal really going up and down a lot more. May just be more accurate now.

Just got mine in Oregon as well. I guess things are going well. Did a back up and moved the file to my computer to be ready to factory reset but not sure it needs it so well see. My sister is having an issue with her WiFi shutting off constantly though.

Got my update in the Nati. Updated without a hitch.

It changed the home button to a circle - 5

The only real thing I don't like is hitting the button (now a square) that lists open apps. . Instead of showing them side by side, it cascades them so it is a pain to close individual ones or even tell what they are.

Any help for that would greatly be appreciated. . Can't find an option for it anywhere.

Other than that, nothing has changed that I can see. .

So far lollipoop has been more of a disappointment then finding your blind date looks like a horse.

ota became available Los Angeles earlier today. All I've really noticed so far is the white in the notifications, the scrolling open apps someone else complained about, and there's no longer a quick memo short cut.

I have not done a recovery or anything like that, and the phone actually feels snappier.

Update appears to have went well. Didn't do factory reset. As others noted nothing impressive with the update.

Having problems with do not disturb mode. Before the update I'd have everything silent yet my alarms would still go off and wake me up in the morning, now on do not disturb mode my alarms didn't go off and made me late, does anyone know how to have the phone on silent but still have working alarms on lollipop?

I started a thread on this issue:

http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g3/514818-alarm-do-not-disturb-mode-d851.html

Settings->Sound->(under Notifications) Do not disturb->Under SCHEDULE (bottom of screen) set the days of week and times at bottom. Leave the phone vibrate or sound at night and alarms work.

If done correctly your alarm will go off so you won't be late for work ;)
