Tmo visual voicemail

I have a new S7edge, and a new carrier Tmo. Can someone please explain to me how the vvm works, as far as if it's really free. I'm getting msgs that say i've got 27 days left on my free trial of vvm. I was told in the store that it was free, period. Thanks for any help.

It used to be in the "My T-mobile" account, but I believe it's an app now and it always showed up as free. Basically it shows a direct links to individual voice mails instead the voicemail telling you how many new and saved messages you have. With the latter, you listened to each VM one at a time until you get to the last one. With VVM you can choose which one to listen to. It's hard to explain but look at the pic. Hope it helps.

Visual Voice Mail is free unless you choose to get the part that actually sends you an message that you can read. After the free trial is over you will just be getting voice messages.
