I noticed your title says 4g; not 4g LTE. Those are completely different technologies. The T-Mobile "4g" averages about 5mbs... 4G LTE gets anywhere from 20-40 or so, depending on what area I am in and how densely populated it is.

Just depends on your area and how upgraded your towers are. My area has been upgraded and I've discovered they are secretly throwing in 20x20 in my area.. So higher speeds are expected.

Tmobile speeds are great in my area, until I walk into any substantial building. Then I get the dreaded edge. Which is basically no usable network.
