Curious as to how the T mobile digits actually work in having one number. Can you receive sms/mms/phone calls while your phone is at home or off and if off will it still use your same number as phone

yes you can. I have 2 phones using same number. Any calls, text notifications I receive on both. You can even leave one phone at home or turn in off and use the other one. I pay $20 one which you get unlimited 4G LTE. don't get the $10 one it's 3G and slow.

Yup, pretty much...as long as you are logged into the Digits app or website. Or if your other phone supports Multi-Line.

Anyone have any luck setting their watch and phone up on digits? I can't get mine to work right same with my gear s3. As soon as my watch disconnects from the phone it's emergency calls only. Also while trying to make a call my 2 hour old galaxy watch went into cool down mode. Seems odd that a simple phone call would heat up the watch.

when I ordered my watch the rep said bring it in to set it up. This is my first LTE watch so I don't know if it's necessary but I'll stop by the store.

When rep set mine up he said watch has own number but you will never use. Even if you call it nothing happens. When I get a call both ring. If I power off phone I can call or receive with calls to the number.

Mine worked that way for a little bit, but after I had to get a warranty replacement for my s3 it stopped working and my galaxy watch doesn't work right either. Waiting on a call from customer care now.

I got it all sorted out after a coupe hours on the phone with T-Mobile. Go figure the uneducated store employee had no idea what he was doing. I swear I have yet to meet a store employee that knew anything at all. I hate when I'm required to depend on those idiots to "help" me. I've spent more than 7 hours in a t-mobile store in the last year waiting on clueless people to help me.

They never actually set my new watch up on the old watch line, so my galaxy watch wasn't actually on a phone line, just by itself. I wish they paid those guys better, I would have a new job. Something I actually enjoy too.
