Prepaid doesn't have the $70 unlimited everything with 2.5gb hot spot data. I was also told if I order prepaid the Galaxy note 3 would have been $100 more. I was trying to get that pre paid 5gb data unlimited text, 100 min of talk but they wouldn't let me get the note 3 with that. Im glad I didn't cause the Note 3 just guzzles data. From my magazine, to tons of widgets, and multi window it would have sucked to get bumped down to 2g after hitting my 5gb cap

Prepaid does have $70 unlimited everything with 2.5G hotspot data, it just changed recently, several weeks ago.

Prepaid Note 3 does cost ~$50 more, not $100 more. Its in their fine notes...

I know post-paid is subject to credit approval, at this time, I think the difference between TMo post and pre paid are minimal for most people.

Well, i have a $50 deposit, and this was just for my plan, not the phone..

Oh, I am loving the FREE hotspot with 2.5gb, and can hook up to 5 devices.. Shucks, I was in a pinch a while back, and I told my wife, who is with Sprint, to turn on the Wifi hotspot. She called Sprint and they told her $19.95 to turn on the hotspot!! Ouch!!

I'm making the jump from Verizon to T-Mobile today.
On Verizon I have 1 unlimited data line, 1 2GB line, two dummy basic lines that we don’t use (opened them up to activate their phones on our regular lines), unlimited text, and 700 minutes per month. We pay $200 per month. On T-Mobile I’m getting 1 unlimited high speed data line, 1 2.5GB line, unlimited text, unlimited minutes. With my unlimited data on the Jump! program, I’m saving about $50 per month. Plus I don’t have to deal with a stupid borderline-thief company locking down every bootloader in sight, not to mention refusing the Nexus line and throwing us a phone about 6 months after everyone else. Yes, they have the most extensive network, but nowhere near the fastest. I tested out my friend’s T-Mobile phone in my house and place of work, and on speedtest he was getting about 17mps faster than my crappy Verizon phone. It’s like a breath of fresh air, leaving that disgusting company.

Whenever I see VZW's ad about "american's largest LTE network", I can't help but laughing. It doesn't do any good when their LTE is just about same speed as TMo's HSPA+. The company is so deceptive and greedy.

I just made the switch today, in So Cal. Left VZW with two unlimited plans, plus $30 hot spot went from $190 before taxes to $140 before taxes, a month..

I'll deal with any coverage gaps and support a company who is thinking outside the box. Happily.

I feel like T-mobile has some hidden data restrictions. Like if I go into the Play store and try to update a app over 30 mb, it will like just refuse to go anywhere. Sometime is goes but very rarely. An example. I went into a area where the coverage was considered excellent. My phone poped up saying there was 8 updates one was a game update for 223 mb. I hit update because I have unlimited data and I'm not going home till late and my speed test showed 5mbps. So when it hit the game update it would always get stuck at 15kb or 17bk until I eventually have to skip that update and the smaller 10 to 20mb updates were like boom done, boom done, but if its a bigger update it just gets stuck or if its like a google keyboard or google something update it crawls. Also I'll notice if I use alot of my mobile hotspot in like a hour (1.5gb), when I finally turn it off my speed test will be like stuck at 200kbps max no matter how many times I reboot or clear all cache. It eventually goes back to full speed after like 10 minutes of waiting

Must be your area. When I go to stream, download apps, files, anything it simply works. I can use as much as I want without issue as shown below.

Am I being ripped off? I just called them today about my first bill being high at $79 and they told me 1 dollar something in state taxes and 6 something in federal taxes. I never had taxes this high.

Companies postpaid plans don't simply charge state taxes; they also charge other fees such as regulatory fees, 911 fees, etc. A rule of thumbs is to estimate your taxes and fees by adding approximately 12 to 20% of your chosen plan costs depending on the state you reside.

Ha, I had to laugh on that one.. Taxes vary, and all carriers have the sneaky little add-ons, along with the almighty tax!! They have a fee for this and a fee for that.. Little things, such as 3 or 4 dollars, but like you stated they add up.. We are going to get that from all carriers in the same area.. Different areas might have different tax rates, and additional fees. My unlimited is 50-20, plus the 8 or 9 in fees.. Normal fees.

However, all and all, and I am a cheap skate, TMobile has the best plan.. Now, that applies to me. Because some say their coverage is not that good. Well, I have yet to get in a spot where I don't have coverage, and for me, that is good.

Also, I am LOVING the HOTSPOT, 2.5gb of data to be used on the HOTSPOT, plus I can add up to 5 devices..Shucks, I have been at work, and when the networks crashed, along with the WiFi, I just turn on my HOTSPOT on my Note 3 and keep on rolling. My wife has Sprint, unless they changed it, she has to pay $20 to turn on the hotspot..

Also, I have not run out of data.

With Tmobile, on coverage, data, and price plan, with ME, so far so good!!!
