TMobile Note 10+ 5G Update

Did anyone else get a pretty large update today? I was already in the December 1 security patch and Android 10. There weren't any details about the update listed.

Was it Android 10 and One UI 2? The S10/+ started getting it so the Note 10 is not far behind.

The TMo Note 10+5G came with Android 10 out of the box.

I got this too. Was very confused because it came with Q and December patch. I finally just figured this was an addendum that didn't get completed or added until after these were manufactured.

Yes, it did. I have had the phone for 2 weeks and received 2 updates. But it is a good thing. There have been some odd stability issues. The date and time have jumped 3 times to something days in advance. And I had an odd thing with Google maps showing my wife's phone (location sharing) in a different location than Google itself was showing it. I had reported the date/time issue directly to Samsung over a week ago. Is that included in the fixes? Who knows and Samsung is not telling. But, so far, it is running great right now, so I am greatly pleased to get that update.

Yes, mine came with One UI 2.0 and Android 10. I've also had the clock issues. Besides that, the phone has been great.

I've had the Note 10+ 5G since shortly after launch on Dec 9th, and had nothing but problems compared to the regular Note 10+ I jumped from. I'm counting down the days until I can jump back to a regular Note 10. GPS is completely useless and the system time is occasionally off. The phone has absolutely no GPS ability in either 5G or 4G mode, due to a firmware problem that Samsung has yet to fix. It never should have been released in this state.

Are you still having these issues since the ASL7 update a few days ago? I, too, have had the system time issues and some GPS problems, but nothing since that last update to version ASL7. It has been completely stable.

I should mention regarding GPS problems. I cleared the data storage for Google Maps when it was showing wrong locations. Not just the cache, but all data storage for the Maps app and reinitialized it. GPS problems were gone and never returned.

I had that time and date problem also. I received the same update and like you, the problem seems, at least so far, to be fixed.
