To buy or not to buy

I also use SwiftKey for Tablet, split keyboard.

I read a review of the Samsung cover on InfoWorld.com and canceled my order.

I had the Belkin Tri-fold and returned it.

I now have the Exact case. It was $13, shipped, on eBay. The Belkin case was nice, but not worth the extra money, to me. I like the Exact case better, also, because it's held closed by magnets, instead of the Belkin's elastic strap. And it has an elastic loop to hold the stylus.

Let's make some noise and get OB to release A Defender case.

Hiya, jcp!! I ordered a Note 10.1. Excited!! I (speaking to the group here) currently own an Asus Transformer 101(the original) with the keyboard dock, the Asus TF300 with the keyboard dock, a Samsung Galaxy SIII and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. Yup, probably the 101 will be going up for sale. I should have sold it after I got the TF300, but, oh well. I have been hankering for this new Note, though. I have really gotten to like Samsung products, and I have heard wonderful stuff about the Note 10.1 from Mobile Tech Review. I got a little hands on action, and I loved it. It's not just the quad core, but the 2 gigs of RAM (like my SGIII) that I find so great for performance. I will start studying up on this forum in preparation for the receipt of the baby!

I also forgot to mention the IR blaster with the Peel app make the Note 10.1 into a remote control for your television and associated electronic equipment. You can get the Samsung USB adaptor and read memory sticks or connect gaming peripherals. There is also an HDMI adaptor connects your HDTV to you tablet via your choice of HDMI cable. The S Pen as a digitized stylus is more than just a means to activate apps. It can be used to take screenshots and is pressure sensitive as well as allowing for more precise navigation. The split-screen capability makes for more true mult-tasking. Check out the comparison videos on Mobile Tech Review versus the Asus T700 and the new iPad.

Actually, I saw that you posted Lisa Gade's video review, which is what got me excited about it in the first place, too. I did check out the smack down video you posted. Thanks.

You will be more excited when you get it in your hands. Are you getting the 16 GB or 32 GB?
