To buy or not to buy?

Screen on time is a much more relevant way to measure battery life. This is what I always go by.
how many days you get out of a battery basically tells nothing as everyones actual usage time of the tablet (screen on time) will vary during each day.

that is like saying I eat more than you because I eat 5 meals a day and you only eat 3. It has nothing to do with how many times but how much each time.

it has nothing to do with how many days a tablet battery lasts but rather how much actual screen on time usage it gets.

Yes I totally agree but he couldn't get it.... Lol my tablet can easily last me 2 - 3 days because I don't use it a lot at times

The device itself is fine. I bought it for my wife as a gift. The one fatal flaw - and this is only an issue if you cast movies or music via Chromecast - is that the system UI keeps crashing every time you stream a movie to Chormecast via the Play Movies app. The issue is explained here: Fix - process com.android.systemui has stopped when mirroring on Chromecast | AndroMods. Called Samsung and they couldn't do anything about it so I returned it. Who knows how long it will take Samsung to fix this error (and it happens with the LG G3 too, something about the code in touchwiz, or whatever LG uses, that allows you to adjust the volume from the status bar causes the systemui to crash; and there is a fix for LG but not Samsung and only if you are rooted, which I don't like to do), but if you don't plan on casting music/movies via Chromecast, then the device itself is pretty awesome.

As for me, I'm waiting for the next Nexus tablet.

This is kinda why I don't like how Android manufacturers skin their devices. It doesn't really add anything to the experience (at least for me) and always seems to cause some issue.
